Bird Watching

The park is an exceptional worldwide destination for bird watching. Uganda hosts over 1050 species of birds of which over 450 of them reside in Murchison attributed to the forest swamps, riverine woodland savannah and plains of acacia trees birds like the shoebill stork, papyrus gonolek and horn bills make Uganda have an increased reputation for bird watching during game drives, nature walks and boat cruises one can easily add to their count of birds seen.
